MULTINUPI is a multi layer piping and mechanical pressure fitting system for the construction of heating and sanitary installations.

MULTINUPI is ideal for the transpor-
tation of potable water and conforms to decree n° 174 dated 06/04/2004 released by the Ministry of Health.

THE PIPE

MULTINUPI pipe is a multi layer pipe composed of:

PHigh density polyethylene (HDPE)
Adhesive layer
Aluminium
Adhesive layer
PE-RT

MULTINUPI Pipe is manufactured in compliance with the UNI 10954 norms.
The three materials are perfectly compatible with each other thanks to an innovative technology resulting from avanguard machinery. MULTINUPI is produced in the NUPIGECO facilities and is packed in coils (sizes d. 14-16-18-20-26 mm) or isolated in coils (sizes d.14-16-18-20-26 mm) and bars (sizes d. 16-18-20-26-32-40-50-63 mm).

The combination of three materials gives the pipe a high mechanical resistance and high reliability at high temperatures and pressures. Thanks to the aluminium layer, MULTINUPI is extremely flexible thus quick to install.

THE FITTINGS

MULTINUPI fittings are of the "Press-Fitting", mechanical pressure fittings type.
BRASS FITTINGS
Available from size 14mm to size 63mm, made up of:

A brass body
EPDM O-ring
Stainless steel clamping ring with opening at one end in order to check the insertion depth
Retaining bush and plastic isolation.

The connection is guaranteed by the compression of the external clamping ring of the fitting to the pipe end. The water and mechanical tightness is given by the grooves on the fitting. Once pressed it grips to the inner surface of the pipe and to the EPDM O-ring.

PPSU FITTINGS (Poliphenylsulfone)

MULTINUPI plastic (PPSU) fittings are the real innovation of the MULTINUPI system. PPSU is a techno polymer that can withstand temperatures ranging between - 40°C e 160°C. They are also available from sizes 14mm to 32mm. They can be connected to the pipe in the same manner used in brass fittings. They are made up of: br>
